My rating of Barcelona hotels

1.       Hotel Montecarlo. The hotel is excellent, the rooms are comfortable,
big and very clean. I found the service to be excellent- front desk staff very
helpful in pointing out the best way to tour Barcelona. The rooms are spacious,
clean, and comfortable. I had a sitting room as well as a balcony overlooking
Las Rambla. Because of the double doors on the balcony, the room was quiet.
It is very central, close to the subway and the main place....

2.       Casa Camper Hotel Barcelona. The suites are clean, comfortable, and
have great cooling systems. The beds are sufficient, the sheets are crisp, and
the pillows are fluffy. The shower water pressure is great, and the bathrooms
are roomy and well lit. The sitting area in each room will allow you to open
french doors, and stand on a small balcony overlooking the street below.
When you close the door, you can barely hear any of the street noise below,
and in the bedroom you couldn't hear a thing. The staff is very attentive and
is full of super-positive energy. If you’re on a portion of honeymoon, the staff
will send up a little bottle of champagne with best wishes. Nice.

3.       Hotel 1898. The location is perfect, located on the Ramblas. Access to the
subway is just a couple minutes walk. Inside the hotel it is classic and welcoming.
The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
